Stupid Websites. . .

April 12th, 2006

Okay, so, I was thinking about scrapping theharmans.com’s current layout.

Or at least the blog-i-ness of it. It’s great for my page, but it’s pointless for the rest of us.

Have you looked at the Guestbook lately?! It’s a nightmare! And the idiots who did their HTML code for the viagra link left a quotation mark off, so my cgi script won’t execute and delete all those horrid comments.

Anyway, it needs about 12 hours of work - and I’m not sure when that’ll happen. I’m open to suggestions for an easier/better website solution. . .

Ken promoted to Commander

July 4th, 2005

On July 1,2005 I was promoted to Commander. I was thrilled that I could participate in the ceremony in Kodiak, surrounded by my friends. It was amazing since we were scheduled to leave Kodiak the next Day. Click here for photo’s: Promotion Ceremony.

Farewell Kodiak! Ken and Tammy depart!

June 26th, 2005

One week from today, Tammy and I will go aboard the Ferry Tustemena enroute to Homer, AK. The 10 hour trip will be the beginning of our move away from our home here in Kodiak and to our new home in Petaluma, CA. While we are both very excited to be off on another adventure, we will deeply miss our friends and our lifestyle here in Kodiak. We plan to document out trip in much the same fashion that we did coming here three years ago, so for anyone interested, go to Ken’s web page and follow along with us!

New Layout

March 25th, 2005

Okay, this is the latest of my site layouts. I am much happier with this one and I think it will work for a while to come.

Bad links are everywhere, and hopefully I can spend some time making sure that everything starts working better. Previously I have been spending all my time trying to get a site design I liked.

Hope you enjoy. If you have any questions, just email me.
